Common questions

Where are my files saved?

In your ArtiBytte cloud account. The Free plan holds up to 5 MB. Export a backup from Files regularly.

What are Notes?

A place for your raw thinking and anything your AI tells you. Open Files, then tap Notes or a folder. Notes autosave and keep versions. They are separate from workspace files and not in Context Pack, but they are included in Export. Mitochondria only reads the notes you select. It never edits them, and nothing is sent anywhere until you copy the prompt.

What can I save on the Free plan?

Text only. Use Add file to type or paste. Uploading photos and files is for Pro.

How do versions work?

Saving with the same file name creates a new version (v1, v2, v3). If nothing changed, no new version is made.

How do I back up or move my files?

Open Files, then tap Export to download a backup, or Context Pack to export everything as one .md file. Import restores a backup.

I lost my license code

Tap Email support and include the email address you used. We will send your license code to that email.

What happens when I paste long text?

Pasted paragraphs are split into rows of about 100 characters. Rows you type have no limit. The maximum is 50,000 lines per file.

Do members work across devices?

Yes. Members join through an invite link or by email and see the same workspace on any device.
